A final rule on the Section 232 exclusion process was published 5/20/2024. It takes effect 7/1/2024. The goal is to make a more transparent process. It removes 12 General Approved Exclusions (GAEs), half for steel, and half for aluminum. The full Federal Register Notice is here.
